Fire Insurance

I just being told that our apartment's fire insurance will be expired until 1 July 2010.

So if our management still behavior like this, everyone better go to bank to buy for ur own. Coverage will be better.
anyone from the management care to advice for this year onwards , are we going to buy all ? coz you need to inform the resident if not , they buy themselve and will not pay you back , it kinda 2 weeks notice required .

the last time not all resident pay up for the fire insurance nanyang vista purchased and used up the fund

Brother, if there is no formal letter from government, no need to care for that one. If they dare to send, then help them to do promotion lal...

Now problem is if we buy our own, I really dun want to pay to management for same coverage already.
macam mana management nak beli insurance kalau commitee baru tak bagi approvel.sebab keputusan daripada commitee.satu lagi pasal rm1000 tak perlu formal letter dari goverment,dalam egm sudah pun approve kata rm1000.kita kena ikut sajalah.baca akta 663 betul2 dulu baru comment.sebab itu dari dulu saya kata,buang isu perkauman dan tumpukan macam mana kita boleh berkerjasama demi kepentingan apartment kita.sekarang pun belum terlambat lagi,kita boleh sama2 berganding bahu tolong commitee baru

Just know I go and pay maintenance fee.  I heard all payments for security, cleaning, swimming pool, lift, gardener will be on hold until AGM. I asked him why he said resident set in EGM . They said one the proposer is new committee members also.
Ohno... This is really not a good sign...
AGM is august.. Mean all vendors wont receive paid from May to July.. SWEAT!!! No wonder lift until now is still unfix la...
actually , they need to send formal letter barring payment >1K

if not , verbal communications ? lets write petition to the authority
Just know I had called COB regarding this fixed expense issue.
They are asking me why should they send the letter. If COB set, they will send the letter. If the rules not follow by JMC, they requested to make an official complain to COB, so they can take action.

They are following the minutes of EGM only. No letter will be send out.
so the 1k expenses is coming from the EGM , with verbal help from the mppp officer you means ?

there's no such rules from COB

The person in charge(COB) Top position was there in EGM ...He was very disappointed with that incidents happen in EGM. Next time we want to ask his help also a bit hard for our apartment (any issue). He said just follow what he said in EGM.
So means now to resolve the entire problem is to have EGM again to unbarred the things that set and revote everything again before all the lift/things going to damage?
The worst is there are around 50% is not there during EGM right? I really pity the old folks in this apartment, I still can walk and park outside, but maybe those uncle-auntie that force 1k one couldn’t.
It is up to COB to approve. If new JMC agree we can have AGM in 48 days
