depend on which lawyer u prefer... my 1 is rm21++

Why your lawyer fee so cheap one ?!
My lawyer charge me total 2.7k.
Including the memorandum of transfer $645, stamp duty 1.58K + other misc.
Shouldn't it be standard charge ?

just the transfer and stamp duty, not including the charge.

fyi,
1. if you buy subsale, you already paid the stamp duty during you bought last time, so you no need to pay again. which costs 1k~2k.

2. the RM200 is the strata title fee only, which you need to pay to your lawyer separately (actually this RM200 is pay to Ezri & Co.)

3. we need to pay our lawyer Transfer fee & Loan Charge and MISC.

for my case, I bought sub-sale so no need to pay the first one.
my lawyer charge me:
Transfer fee + Loan Charge + MISC = RM1.68k
RM200 to Ezri & Co.
So, sum is RM1.88k

remark: above charges also variance depends on your housing price.

Why do Ezri & Co charge me $640 for the transfer then ?
Tipu me ?

I don't get the stamp duty part.
I bought from developer, also pay stamp duty for S&P and loan (of course to other lawyer) agreement.
Why then Erzi & Co collect from me again, for what ?
