what you can do here is wait 1 day do not on your pc. Then it will release you mac address from the server.

This what happed last week for me. Second pc cannot login; it works only  when it prompt password on first pc then you used the second pc. No matter matter you release ip or clear dns it will not work. Basic it is not holding ip but our mac address of nic.

Thanks for the info, anyhow their support sucks and they dont seems to have a good explanation to tell you, imagine they use to partner with NTT Docomo, how can they do this shame things ?

If so many problems then may consider back using streamyx.

Another thing all of you may try... try to clone your MAC address.

This is where you need to clone your MAC address:

"Some ISPs require that you register the MAC address of your network card/adapter, which was connected to your cable or DSL modem during installation."

i.e.: Get the MAC address of the first PC/laptop which can online, and then on the following PC or laptop, clone the MAC address over.  How? PC geeks here please try to help and post the steps please. (I haven't experiment on it.)

clever boy, how come i didn't think of that...can try huh..hm...we have bound to 1 year contract with them , if we didn't pay them i wonder what will they do? just cut off the line or sue us? aha

I guess is attempting authentication issue. as what I experienced is even the same pc also can't online after just restart.
still no workaround for the issue line mine....

I also have the same problem.. need to try few times for connecting if I restart my laptop.  very ma huan one.. ..
the "authentication failed" sometimes will come out but sometimes is ok.. grrrhhh...

between, see you guys hav so many issue wit router and to other pc.. scared liao..
not so stable la .. the  penangfon..

current penangfon dunno why have so many problem. i used in my old apartment also have such problem. all setting is correct but always authentication failed.

 

i don't understand why need authentication? want to limit people using the bandwidth?

that is for their security to avoid tapping of our line. just implement according to ahcute info. soon all condo and apartment will implement. i think they got alot enermies until wanted to tap the line.

implement authentication system is good for everyone...
but the way, security protocol or method not so idea....
hope that  penangfon can improve the authentication way more efficiency and intelligent.

sound like not the router issue still....
I just push them to come to reset/restart switch..... by today.

i also spoken with patrick to restart the switch in our apartment. 3 to 4 people having the same issue. what makes him to think it is router problem. if you only having problem that it is fine but all of us.

If he is smart he should know it...

i come across knowing somebody who work in penangfon just now...so happy i am...ahhaahahaaha he is the one who work as internal IT and also the one who help to reset the server. He say will help me to look into this by reset it again. If cant he asked me to contact him. the rock and ahcute...if u still failed to login please give me your unit number or your login name i help u to call him to reset for you. ** he is my current collegue's friend. i need to keep low profile on this person as he dont allow me to give his contact to anyone.
